費羅麗莊園的習拜會

拜登總統週三下午在舊金山近郊的費羅麗莊園歡迎中國國家主席習近平之到訪， 經過四個多小時之會談， 雙方同意恢復軍事對話及對反毒品控制之努力。 

与此同時， 雙方認為回到正常之軌道，處理兩國軍事危機才是最重要之議題之一。 拜登總統在記者會上表示，他和習近平主席之會談具有非常建設性之成 果， 他重申一中政策從未改變。

在我們看來， 台灣問題才是中美關係重中之重，海峽兩岸之兵兇戰危才是世界問題之徵結所在。中國大陸不放棄武力統一之政策 ，近八年來民進黨政府之反中行為， 造成中美兩國極大之矛盾。

台灣明年元月份將舉行大選， 日前國民黨及民眾黨在前總統馬英九之見證下已經決定合力對抗民進黨， 百分之六十之台灣人民希望政黨輪替。倘若非綠合作上台， 也許是改善和中國大陸關係之契機。 

如果海峽兩岸關係急速改善， 中國大陸也將會改變其對台政策 這對中美關係之緩和及世界和平將會產生良好之後果。

我們在海外的華人極盼走在民族復興之大道上， 更希望雙方領導人決不可開歷史之倒車 ，戰爭是沒有驘家的。

Biden And Xi Meet At Filoli Gardens 

President Biden welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping at Filoli Gardens near San Francisco Wednesday afternoon. For more than four hours both sides agreed to resume a mutual military dialogue and to support an anti-drug control effort. 

At the same time, the two sides agreed that returning to the normal track to deal with the military crisis between the two countries is one of the most important issues that they both are facing. 

President Biden said that he told Xi, "We maintain an agreement that there is a one-China policy and that I am not going to change that.“ President Biden commented that he believed the two leaders engaged in, "...some of the most constructive and productive discussions we’ve ever had."

In our opinion, the Taiwan issue should be the top priority of Sino-US relations. When China insists on a unified Taiwan as part of a "China by force" approach, the current DDP government’s anti-China policy causes high tensions on the Taiwan Straits. 

Taiwan will hold its presidential election on January 13, 2024. Yesterday, the KMT and the Peoples Party agreed to unite against the current DPP in election. 60% of the Taiwan people want the government to change. We hope the new government can improve the relationship with mainland China and improve the relationship between the U.S. and China at the same time.
