President Biden And Many Politicians Gathered In Houston

Today, the President and many American politicians gathered in Houston to attend the funeral of the late Congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee. Attendees included President Biden, Vice President Harris, former President Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and over 50 members of Congress. They all came to say their final goodbyes to a great politician.

Throughout her career, Sheila’s courage and strength never wavered. She championed justice for minorities and vulnerable communities, becoming a savior in the eyes of her people.

In Congress, she was a fearless voice.

To achieve her goal, she consistently reached to the White House and the President with her resolve and her tenacity propelled her onto the international stage as one of the few prominent political figures to do so.

During the funeral service, many politicians including President Biden highlighted her many achievements and recounted her tireless efforts for civil rights, her unwavering support for her constituents and her passionate advocacy for the underserved. Her legacy as a fierce defender of social justice and equality will echo throughout American history.
